Cancellation of Public Auctions

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Jamaica Customs Agency (JCA) is advising members of the public that the following scheduled Public Auctions are cancelled:

  • Queen’s Warehouse, Norman Manley International Airport, Kingston  –  March 18 -19, 2020 and April 15-16, 2020
  • Queen’s Warehouse, Sangster International Airport, Montego Bay      –  March 26, 2020 and April 30, 2020
  • Queen’s Warehouse, 230 Spanish Town Road, Kingston                     –   April 8, 2020

Based on the nature of the Private Treaty Auction, this will be held as scheduled for April 3, 2020.

The Agency’s decision is in keeping with the Government of Jamaica’s (GOJs) national response strategy in combating Covid-19. The JCA is also imploring stakeholders and the general public, to follow the established guidelines and health protocols of the Ministry of Health and Wellness, which can serve to reduce the spread of this coronavirus.

The Agency remains committed to serving its stakeholders and fulfilling its mandate to facilitate trade and protect our borders.
